Internet Connectivity

All appliances will need access to the repository hosted by SecurIT  to install and update packages. This can be done directly or through a  proxy.

To add a proxy you will need to change the yum configuration file /etc/yum.conf and add following parameters:

# The proxy server - proxy server:port number
proxy=http://mycache.mydomain.com:3128
# The account details for yum connections (optional)
proxy_username=<<proxy-user>>
proxy_password=<<proxy-pass>>

Virtual Machine Requirements

The requirements differ on how many components you will want to run on one machine.
